I mentioned the day I joined before, but for some reason….. I can’t remember any of it now… not even a little. I only remember doing something….really exhausting.
I feel bad going through everypony else’s files now, even though I tend to update records to save the others the boring paperwork trouble. Only Spitfire, Soarin’ and Doc have more knowledge than I do about current Wonderbolt records. All the stuff I mentioned about the others a while ago was declassified and open access (though I moved a little of it to ‘private’ after finding out how certain team members felt).
I would have glady revealed everything you wanted to know about me but…..I can’t…….I……can’t…. ow my head! I can’t… can’t…. concentrate…why can’t I remember…..
If you are still fortunate enough to have a mother or mother figure to look up to, give her a hug or something. Tell her you care. If not, find some mare you respect and hug HER.

I know our flashy over-the-top routines are the real crowd favorites, but I’ve been doing the basics since I was able to fly. And I learned to fly very young to keep up with my constantly-moving mother. …that and my full plumage came in really early and I kept getting blown away by strong winds…heh heh, it’s funny when I think about it now…

I admit I’m not the type who has even a faint interest in running around just picking up mares left and right (unlike a certain teammate of mine). But it’s a bit odd… I always used to attract the shallow ponies who just wanted to ‘show off their cute coltfriend’.
It got SO much worse after becoming a Wonderbolt. The auction was just the most extreme example. Nowadays I STILL get creepy stalkers, dull, status-obsessed noblemares, and of course, the ones who just….well let’s just say they want a healthy stallion and nothing else matters. At. All. They sent me pictures than made even Lockheed blush. Half these mares I speak of don’t even know I’m a Wonderbolt unless I’m wearing my gear.
The mares on the team are among the ones who really treat me like… a friend. Like any other pony. Not like a prime specimen to be kept, a trophy, a status symbol or…. as a ‘foal factory’. Blaze is one of the few to actually come right out and tell me she didn’t care about typical romance and just wanted to hang out. Ariel threw a great birthday party for me earlier this year. Surprise and Misty found an old Aerobatics Almanac I was missing for YEARS. And Spitfire knows fan ‘affection’ all too well…
….gah, I’m rambling again. Long day. I better stop yapping and get some rest.
Training log - Day 5 - Tyco
Flight training has been brutal over the last few days, being pushed to our limits. Even the ever flawless Spitfire was showing signs of the strain. We have been building up, not for the shows, but for the distances we are going to be travelling to each venue.
Our trainees have been putting up a good show too especially Auroran, and Silver Dazzle has been trying to calm the nerves of our rather timid manedresser Rainboom. He isnt the strongest flier and we will have to carry him the distances.
Me and Soarin have been having fun with the special camera rigs we are going to be wearing. They are a little heavy, but give viewers shots from over our wings, back, and from our shoulder and goggles. We have been doing sill faces into them for a bit.. until we got told off for wasting footage. Only a small while till the first show….

The camera was a little awkward to handle, but it was kinda fun to use. Not so much to fly with though…
….I know what you’re thinking, “what happened to his eyes?” but my goggles broke after getting the first kitty out of the tree. I was still okay to get teh second one… but… the cat kinda panicked and uh… accidents happened. Long story short, I got scratched in my face and eyes, then I got rainbow in my eye on the way home and someone mixed up eye wash with burn salve while they were helping me clean the scratches and uh… I can still see, but my eyes are REALLY light sensitive and I think they may change color at random for a little while.
I still like cats though. They just….I don’t think cats like flying, or they really wanted to stay in that tree…

Hahaha, he was as happy as a foal when we hid those. I had no idea he loved those eggs so much. The look on his face is so adora-
I mean funny! Look at him, he was so happy he didn’t even care I used his Tumblr to post this! What a day this was. Gotta admit, he’s a pretty fun pony when he’s not sticking his muzzle in a flight chart or book or something.

Why did everypony expect her to ask ME first? I was gonna ask, honest! It’s just that between the pranks and being a TOASTER for a week, I had to catch up on stuff…..and….. Oh, who am I trying to kid? I didn’t think she liked dress events. And Blaze is…..hard to keep up with unless she is the one looking for YOU.
